Notes from a Gravity Coach:
Besides the fact that my childhood dream was to become an astronaut, as professional dancer, I’ve worked with gravity and a desire the craft has always demanded: to become weightless in the air. So in the spirit of weightlessness, I wish to connect to astronauts and space pilots from here on earth by naming myself a Gravity Coach.
Down here, I coach Gravity Workers utilizing our most abundant resistance tool - gravity - further applying additional resistance tools, functionally training and re-training our bodies to confidently embrace life’s changes.
I’ve always thought dancers would thrive in space and perhaps that’s yet to come! For now, we can work together with what we have to better prepare for our tomorrows. And this year in particular, let’s plan to do just that by voting.
