On President’s Day, I drove to Ventura Harbor to witness a high seas battle. Tall ships, Lady Washington and Hawaiian Chieftain, carried brave passengers out to sea for a face-off with cannon-fire! After weeks of on and off again rain, the air was brisk and clean and unfettered with car exhaust.
Both ships are part of Gray’s Harbor Historical Seaport. And they are beauties!
All I could think about was Poldark!
