Halloween Fun with Friends
To celebrate Halloween this year, two of my closest gal friends here in LA joined me for a photo shoot-party. One decided to work the camera and the other joined in the dress-up. Nothing was planned. I just put the “scene” together and we went from there. I will tell you this, taking photos is not as easy as it seems. There’s always something to consider before the shutter is pressed, but we pulled off some funny and strange images.

CRAFTY THINGS
For those who enjoy crafting, you might be interested to learn that I DIY-created all of the set pieces for this shoot: a leafless tree made from a piece of a tumbleweed that was stuck under my car after shooting on location in a remote area, bats made from Martha Stewart’s templates many moons ago, my already famous lighted goop-covered pumpkin face adorned with pine-cone hair and whiskers, and a jar containing string lights adorned with ladyheatherlea flower bands and dried flowers.
